Howard A. Adams, 66, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2013, at his residence.
He was born in Dover, N.J., Nov. 19, 1946, the son of Alvin K. and Jean Bronson Adams.
Howard is survived by his wife of 46 years, the former Sharon J. Peterson. He is also survived by three children, a daughter, Kimberly S. (Fred) Lilley, of Proctor, and two sons, Kevin H. Adams of Williamsport, and Brian T. Adams, of Georgia; a granddaughter, Lena R. Yeagle, of Williamsport; and two grandsons, Kaleb J. Adams and Gauge Adams; and a brother, Paul D. Adams, of Washington.
Howard retired as a route salesman for Stroehman's Bakery, and was a member of Loyalsock Baptist Church. He was well known in his community as a kind, gentle man who enjoyed daily walks, the beauty of nature and berry picking. He will be greatly missed.
The service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Spitler Funeral Home, Montoursville.
