Vivian Virginia Feerrar, 90, of 100 Short St., Oak Grove Gardens, Avis, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, at Jersey Shore Hospital.
Born Feb. 14, 1923, in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late Fred E. and Rose (Walizer) Fleisher. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Feerrar; a brother, Fred Fleisher; and a sister, June Gardner.
For many years, Vivian was a member of Avis United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and enjoyed spending her time with her family.
Surviving are three sons, Wayne (Barb) Feerrar of Avis, Kenneth (Jeanne) Feerrar of Loganton and Dennis Feerrar of Downingtown, Pa.; a daughter, Wendy (Jim) Stroud Millheim, Pa.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald (Phyllis) Fleisher of Rauchtown and James Robert (Jackie) Fleisher of Williamsport; and five sisters, Winifred Barner of Jersey Shore, Vida Whipple of Jersey Shore, Mary Pepperman of Jersey Shore, Betty Brown of Jersey Shore and Deloros (Gary) Derr of Lock Haven.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Jersey Shore Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Vivian's name may be made to Avis United Methodist Church, 215 Prospect Ave., Avis, PA 17721.
