The Williamsport Crosscutters dropped two games under .500 with a 2-1 loss Friday night at Vermont, the team's fourth straight defeat.
Vermont broke a scoreless tie in the seventh inning when Cutter reliever Keive Rojas threw away a Chris Wolfe bunt, scoring Josh Miller. Wolfe then scored off a Ryon Healy double.
Andrew Pullin scored in the top of the eighth for the Cutters on a Bobby Wahl wild pitch.
Wahl pitched a perfect ninth inning for the save.
Cutters starter Mitch Gueller pitched 5 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits, 4 walks, and striking out 6. Rojas took the loss.
Zach Green led the Cutters offense at 2 for 4.
