Willard L. Foresman, 77, of Williamsport, passed away on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 14, 1936, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Lewis Leroy and Lillian (Fenton) Foresman. He was preceded in death by nine sisters.
Willard was a graduate of Williamsport High School. Following graduation, he joined the Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. Willard worked as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
He was a member of the Hepburn Baptist Church, a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 397, and the Williamsport Consistory. He enjoyed remodeling his Cushman and Vespa scooter and also woodworking.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Janet (Andrus) Foresman; three sons, Ronald Foresman, of Vero Beach, Fla., Todd Foresman, of Williamsport, Scott (Tammy) Foresman, of Warrensville; one daughter, Denise (Robert) Khan, of Stockton, Calif.; one sister, Mary Eisner, of Florida; five grandchildren, Ashley, Lynzi, Korey, Joshua, and Lukas, and one great-grandson Jayce.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at Hepburn Baptist Church, 2917 Pleasant Valley Road, Cogan Station, PA 17728.
