Activists allege that unequal outcomes are proof of discrimination without any consideration for other factors that may explain the unequal outcome. In business, women are motivated by different circumstances than men and therefore may make choices that lead to somewhat less income, but more success and happiness than is the case with men.
Differences in pay, unemployment, education level and general quality of life are attributed to racial discrimination, when the cause today is likely to be both good and bad attitudes and personal decisions on the part of individuals. A critical look at other alleged discriminations will likely reveal logical reasons for the unequal results that don't include discrimination.
