Violet S. Ford, 88, formerly of Basin Street, died Saturday Aug. 24, 2013, at The Williamsport Home.
She was born in Williamsport on Sept. 18, 1924, a daughter of Charles Glenn and Jennie Mae (Polsgrove) Fuller.
Violet retired from the former GTE Sylvania in Montoursville and was a participant at Albright Life. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, bowling, when she was healthier, making jams and jellies and spending time with family.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Letterman, of Williamsport; son, Raymond Ford, of Henderson, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, Tonya, Keeili and Gandon.
Her husband, Charles Elmer Ford; two sons, Glenn and Charles; three grandchildren; three sisters, and three brothers all preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport.
A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park at 1 p.m. on Wednesday Aug. 28, 2013.
