Raymond L. Allison, 85, of Loyalsock Township, passed away Sunday Aug. 25, 2013, at Sycamore Manor Health Center while surrounded by family.
He was born on June 7, 1928, in Williamsport, a son of Raymond H. and Margaret (Campbell) Allison.
Ray was a member of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church and retired from the former Litton Industries. He was known for his Donald Duck impression; he enjoyed family genealogy, playing cards and spending time with family at the cabin in Cascade Township
A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County.
He and his wife, the former Ann L. Geiger celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in February of 2013. Surviving in addition to his wife are five children, Steven H. (Rosemarie), Cynthia R. Blaker (Steven), Gregory R. (Sandy), Daniel B. (fiancee Heather Baldwin) all of Williamsport, Andrew J. (Laura) of Queensbury, N.Y.; grandchildren, Randi Harrington, Ashley Koto, Shelley Blaker, Tim Allison, Louis Allison, Gloria Allison; step- grandchildren, Addison and Luke Kelly; great-grandchildren, Madison Harrington, Matthew Harrington, Emily Allison; a brother, Dick (Carol) Allison of Ocala, Fla., and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, brothers James, Edward and Robert all preceded him in death.
The family will receive family and friends at the Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. Third St., Williamsport, on Friday from 9 to 10 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 1220 Northway Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Montoursville with military honors provided by the Korean War Veterans.
