Who's paying the taxes on the rental properties, the mayor? City Council, crime watches, codes?
Laws are already on the books for actions, unbecoming, unacceptable behaviors. Landlords can't be everywhere. I can give the public an example. The Little League World Series! Thanks to the strong overwhelming security, state police, city, every law enforcement agency, their efforts, desire on prevention and enforcement of laws, provide the safety needed for all who come to see this wonderful event.
Now let's take a bite out of crime in the city of Williamsport. The plans are already designed to protect the city.
Who pays for all that protection? The homeowners, landlords, our taxes! What we need is more money, for protection the entire year, not just two weeks! Who wants their taxes raised? Who wants a commuter tax, renter tax, that's right no one! The landlords should be thanked, in my mind, at least they pay their share! Get off their backs!
