Theresa Harold Jackson, 47, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013, at the Gatehouse at Divine Providence Hospital.
Born Oct. 9, 1965, in Philadelphia, she is a daughter to John Daniel Harold and Margie (Harold) Douglass.
Theresa was a graduate of John Bartram High School in Philadelphia. She was attending the Pennsylvania College of Technology for a degree in early childhood education and was a member of the Early Childhood Education Club. She worked at Little Lambs Preschool and Child Care.
Theresa was a member at The Door Fellowship Church, where she was very active in church affairs. She was a giving person who worked for the Lord.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Philadelphia is her step-mother, Mary Harold, of Philadelphia; step-father, William Douglass, of Philadelphia; her loving husband, James E. Jackson; four siblings, Gwendolyn Harold, of Philadelphia, John Harold, of Philadelphia, Cornelius Harold, of Philadelphia, and Ella Harold, of Lancaster; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5 at The Door Fellowship, 470 Pine St., Williamsport. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of service at the church. Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6 at Merion Memorial Park, 59 Rock Hill Road, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
