Does anyone remember the late 60's and early 70's when the anti-war protests were extolling the fact that Vietnam was a civil war and we should not be involved? William Jefferson Clinton preached that message in the streets of Moscow?
Do you remember John Kerry bringing 5 men to testify at a Congressional hearing to tell their stories of the abuse and murder of peasants and children by our troops? After their testimony it was disclosed only one of those men was in the Army, and he never served in Vietnam and the other 4 were never even in the Army.
About 6 weeks ago there was another gas attack in Syria and it was later shown that it was conducted by the rebels to draw other countries to aid them. This time there is no proof that the administration had anything to do with this attack and in fact the government showed a cache of gas weapons that was captured from the rebels.
Now, why is this Civil War different from Vietnam and why should we be involved?
Why should we believe anything John Kerry says about this situation? What proof do we have that he isn't lying again?
Why is Clinton now backing Obama with this civil war? And really, how can anyone believe anything that Clinton says?
And on top of all this it is learned that the rebels decapitated a Mother and her infant child for disagreeing with what they are doing? Is this a reason for America to get involved?
If not, what is the real reason Obama wants so desperately to enter this civil war? After all, I heard a democrat congressman today say that they will vote for us to strike Syria because they will stand behind their leader. Doesn't this sound like a good reason to enter the fray? Partisan politics still controls the Democrats.
