Eugene "Gene" F. Stilling Jr., 66, of Williamsport, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at the Gatehouse.
Born Oct. 18, 1946, in Baltimore, Md., he was a son of the late Eugene F. Sr., and Irene (Cole) Stilling. He married Shirley A. Bakay on Aug. 14, 1999.
Gene worked as a barber and as an Auto Salesman at Alexander Subaru. He enjoyed chess, cars, shooting pool, watching westerns, reading James Patterson books and his dogs, Sassy and Reese. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are mother, Jean Lehnert Stilling, of Pasadena, Md.; five children, Trina Thomas, (Kevin) of Halethorpe, Md., Candace Santichen, (Mike) of Johnstown, Samantha Harten, (Josh) of Altoona, Thomas J. Shultz, of Williamsport, and Timothy S. (Christina) Shultz, of Cogan Station; 11 grandchildren, Forrest, Ian, Shyler, Reagan, Lucas, Kevin, Karlie, Landen, Kaelynn, Tanner and Aubrey; three brothers, Andrew and Anthony, both of Pasadena, Md., and Jimmy Stilling, of Florida; father-in-law, Nicholas Bakay, of Boyertown; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by a brother, and sister-in-law, Thomas and Fay Hines, mother-in-law, Catherine Bakay, and favorite dog, Rinnie.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery. Viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sanders.
