Vivian F. Signor, 91, of Pine Creek, passed away Sunday Sept. 8, 2013, at ManorCare Jersey Shore.
She was born in Woolrich on Sept. 19, 1921, a daughter of Lester A. and Letitia Lehman Frye. She was married to Charles W. Signor, who passed away Feb. 1, 1993. She was a former member of the Slate Run United Methodist Church.
She retired in 1972 as a sewing machine operator for Kelco for many years. She enjoyed bowling and bingo and was a former member and officer with the Jersey Shore L.O.O.M. Auxiliary, along with the VFW Auxiliary of Jersey Shore. She was a life member of the Avis American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Avis Gems
She is survived by one sister, Helen Bates of Ocala, Fla., and a special cousin, Ruth Heckel, of Woolrich; along with local cousins, nieces and nephews.
Vivian's Life Celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at the Rearick-Carpenter Funeral Home, "A Life Celebration Home," 1002 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, with Rev. Cathy Dawes officiating. Interment will be private in Bellevue Cemetery, Avis. friends and relatives will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
