Amy E. Williams, formerly of Lock Haven earned a master of education degree in community and addictions counseling from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., at the College's Spring 2013 Commencement ceremony.
Williams also holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Lock Haven University and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Scranton.
Williams has been awarded a full-time Graduate Assistantship with the School-University Research Network through the College of William and Mary's School of Education to support her pursuit of a Ph.D. in counselor education. This assistantship will provide full tuition assistance and a stipend for the 2013-14 academic year and is open to renewal throughout the duration of Amy's doctoral studies.
Amy is the daughter of Scott and Mary Williams, of Lock Haven.
