To help clear up information regarding state landlord-tenant laws, the Williamsport Lycoming Landlord Association will hold a public meeting at 7 p.m. tonight.
State Rep. Rick Mirabito, D-Williamsport, will speak at the meeting in the William Sechler Community Room in City Hall, 245 W. Fourth St.
"I have been invited to speak at this meeting ... so that property owners, tenants and owners who are not members of the association, as well as the general public, can learn about important policies and gain access to vital information," Mirabito said.
He will speak about current policies regarding leasing, evictions and non-renewal notices, security deposits, illegal drug use, tenant property and tenant screenings.
"The information discussed ... will prove to be extremely beneficial," Mirabito said.
