WELLSBORO - William E. Perry, 50, of 619 E. Main St., Westfield, was charged by state police with making terroristic threats and harassment recently, after he allegedly threatened his ex-wife and her employer, as well as police.

According to documents filed in District Judge Rob Repard's office, Perry telephoned Penny Perry at her Clymer Township residence and made the threats Sept. 10.

Police said he told her he would punch her in the face after he told her he needed money to buy hay for his horses and she refused. He was in violation of a valid protection from abuse order issued in November, police said.

Police said he also threatened her employer, Ken Schoonover, and that he would "do away with" or "do in" Westfield police officers.

He was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bail and his preliminary hearing scheduled for Oct. 8.
