Beatrice L. Logue, 95, of Williamsport, died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at the Williamsport Home in the hospice room.
Born May 12, 1918, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Norman C. and Emma R. (Miller) Morris. She married Robert K. Logue and would have celebrated 75 years together on Nov. 24.
Beatrice was a 1936 graduate from the Williamsport Area High School. She retired in 1970 as an assistant bookkeeper at Valley Farms Dairy after 17 years of service. She was a member of St. Paul-Calvary United Methodist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher for over 50 years. Beatrice enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, playing cards, and traveling across all 50 states and all over the world.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Carol Ann Kindlimann, of Agoura Hills, Calif. and Sharon Kay Heiser, (Robert) of South Williamsport; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Hester V. Fink, of West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Norman L., Walter M., and Byron H. Morris; and a sister, Thelma Nunn.
A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. A graveside service will follow at Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport.
