Genevieve T. (Beaver) Heimbach, 77, of 1574 Sunrise Road, Lewisburg, passed away at her home early Thursday morning, Sept. 19, 2013.
Genevieve was born in Williamsport on Nov. 26, 1935, a daughter of the late Chester M. and Althea (Karschner) Beaver. She was married to Marlyn L. Heimbach and her death breaks a marital union of 51 years.
Genevieve attended the Montgomery Schools.
She enjoyed being outdoors, collecting Elvis items, crocheting, being with her children and grandchildren and their families and holiday decorating, especialy for Christmas.
In addition to her husband she is survived by four children and their spouses, Kenneth and Carm Heimbach, of New Columbia, Terry and Pam Heimbach, of Lewisburg, Marlyn and Debra Heimbach Jr., of Duncannon, and Tena and Steve Lobos, of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren; and three adopted grandchildren.
Also surviving are seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Althea Dewire, of Watsontown, and Evie and Donnie Pentz, of Watsontown.
She was preceded in death by six siblings, Chester Beaver, Rollie Beaver, Richard Beaver, Cleon Beaver, Willis Beaver and Pat Marsiglia.
Friends and relatives will be received at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth Streets, Lewisburg, Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday afternoon from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., when the funeral will begin, with the Rev. John H. Shaw III officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Lawn Memorial Park.
