Michael Anthony Wenner Sr.
He was very outgoing and vivacious. There was never a stranger that he didn't know. He always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.
Michael had a spontaneous nature enjoying large family gatherings, and of course being a sports enthusiast he could be seen attending local sporting events with his father, brothers and children as well as being a regular in local basketball open gyms and community leagues with his son Michael.
Some of the other activities he enjoyed were camping, chopping wood and building huge camp fires. He also took pride in manual labor, always brainstorming new home improvements, building the family's own beautiful pond, spending hours on lawn work and landscaping.
Michael was always a thinker, and a history buff. He spent hours watching home improvement shows, crime series and the history channel.
Michael aspired one day to return to school to become a history teacher.
He also enjoyed spending time entertaining, telling bear stories, and catching frogs in the pond with Cage, Jaelynn, and Keiley. Michael and Debbie would have celebrated 20 years of marriage on Oct. 14.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie (Pricher); four children Alecia, Michael Jr., Courtney, Bethany all at home, his parents Paul and Elizabeth; seven siblings, Paul Wenner, (Jan Adams), Robert Wenner (Vickie Jackson), Chris Wenner (Pattie), Tim Wenner, Denise (Scott) Shaible, Leanne (Brian) Dunkleberger, Beth (Fred) Neidig; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
