MUNCY - South Williamsport resident Nathan Jacob Good told Muncy police "I'm trying to turn my life around."
That statement came within minutes after an officer stopped Good's Ford Mustang on Muncy Exchange Road after following it from the 100 block of New Street, where it was seen crossing the double line about 6 p.m. Thursday, according to an affidavit.
Good's eyes were red and glassy, and his speech was slurred, police said.
"There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle," an officer said the affidavit.
Good, of 1546 W. Mountain Ave., handed over two pint-size Mason jars each containing marijuana that weighed about 44 grams, police said.
Good was taken to the Muncy Valley Hospital to have his blood drawn, but once he got there, he refused all drug tests, police said.
He was taken before District Judge James Carn and arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, delivery of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $35,000 bail.
