Craig R. Pysher, 54, of Cogan Station, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at the Gatehouse in Divine Providence Hospital. He was born Nov. 28, 1958, in Williamsport, a son of Robert E. and Christine Siegel Pysher.
Craig worked as a draftsman for Lycoming Engines, and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Little Mountain Hunting Club, the Nittany Lion Club, was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steeler football fan and was an avid golfer and snowmobiler.
Craig was predeceased by his father.
He is survived by his mother, of Montoursville; his wife, the former Diane R. Hughes, with whom he spent 19 years together; his daughters, Christine R. and Kendra R. Pysher, both at home; brothers, Harold E. Pysher, of Boynton Beach, Fla., Douglas S. (Susan) Pysher, of State College and Frederick D. (Linda) Pysher, of Overland Park, Kan.; sister, Anne P. (William) Wendel, of Villanova; and his beloved dog, Hunter.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, located on the corner of Grampian Boulevard and Bloomingrove Road, Williamsport, with the Rev. Chris Pfleegor officiating. A Celebration of Life Remembrance will be held at the Gesang Verein Harmonia immediately following the service. Burial will be held in Blooming Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
