Alice L. Wingo, 84, formerly of Nisbet, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville.
Born March 12, 1929, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Ellen (Livermore) Sitler.
Alice was a member of Nisbet United Methodist Church. She retired from Wundies and enjoyed crocheting, listening to country music and spending time with her family.

Surviving are three sons, Frank H. Wingo, of Williamsport, William L. Wingo, of South Williamsport, Pete E. (Sally) Wingo, of Linden; three daughters, Sharon L. Wanamaker, of Williamsport, Jean H. Berninger (Ken), of DuBoistown and Vickie A. Hill (Lynn), of Nisbet; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, William Sitler, of Nisbet and Glenn Sitler, of Halifax.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Wingo, in 1987; a daughter, Mary Ellen Wingo in 1977; a daughter-in-law, Sandy Wingo; a sister, Donna Shaffer; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Sitler.
A funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, with Pastor Ann R. Runnels officiating. Burial will be held at Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
