An alleged burglar has gone missing in Lycoming County and members of the Old Lycoming Township Police Department are asking the public's help to locate the man, who "is a known heroin addict," according to a news release.
Zachary Schreiber, 20, is described as a white man, 5 feet-6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has the word "Schreiber" tattooed on the bottom of his right forearm.
He is wanted on a felony burglary warrant from an Oct. 1 incident when police say Schreiber burglarized a social club in Hepburn Township.
He has been charged with burglary, breaking into a structure, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief.
This is not the first time Schreiber has found himself on the wrong side of the law, according to police.
He faces additional charges for allegedly stealing appliances from a home and wire from telephone poles along Haleeka Road in Hepburn Township on Oct. 4, according to court records. He also is wanted by several other law enforcement agencies, records state.
In 2012, he was placed under probation for his alleged involvement in another series of burglaries.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call Old Lycoming Police at 570-329-4066.
