This letter is in response to Richard Saunders' letter entitled "War on Christianity." Mr. Saunders cites the same Biblical verses that Democrats continually use to justify their view of government as opposed to the view of Republicans. Those verses are certainly open to various interpretations and can be used by both political sides in justifying their party's economic policies.
But I wonder how being pro-abortion can fit any interpretation of those Biblical passages? Is there a greater case of "the least among us" than an unborn child?
Mr. Saunders must be unfamiliar with II Thessalonians 3:10, "that if any would not work, neither should he eat."
