United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, Debbie Colton, founder and director of Oasis of Hope Ministries, will speak on the safe haven she has developed in our region for children who are domestic victims of sex trafficking. She will talk about the need in our communities and what can be done to help. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
