Norton turned in a 5K time of 18:05.1 in her first official race as a Mountaineer.
Penn College freshman Nathan Mashack ran a 32:38 to place 112th at the DeSales Invitational. The host team took the top spot in the men's competition as the Wildcats sent only three runners to the event.
