The Business and Professional Women's Club Girl of the Month for October is Leigh Ann Eisenhauer, daughter of Doreen and Walter Eisenhauer of Jersey Shore.
Eisenhauer's activities include National Honor Society, National Business Honor Society, mock trial, Model U.N., Future Business Leaders of America, constitutional convention, cross county and track and field.
Eisenhauer spent her freshman year as a foreign exchange student at Wanganui Collegiate School in New Zealand. She has been cross country team captain for two seasons as well as having served one season as track team captain. She also is secretary for FBLA.
She has two state level awards in FBLA competition. She is a varsity letter winner in cross country and was selected as a member of the second team all-conference cross country team.
At Lycoming County's mock trial event, Eisenhauer has been named best advocate twice. As a junior, she was selected to participate in Leadership Lycoming as well as the University of Pittsburgh Health Careers Scholars Academy.
Eisenhauer previously was chosen to represent Jersey Shore as Wegmans' student of the quarter and is this year's Flaming Foliage representative.
She enjoys running, hiking, traveling and sailing.
She plans to attend college to study behavioral biology and health care management in preparation for medical school.
