He lives outside the city and drives a city vehicle to and from work everyday supplied by our tax dollars. Why are the taxpayers of this city paying for his transportation to work?

The mayor stated the use of this vehicle does not cost the taxpayers any money; my question is, who is paying for the gas, the insurance and the maintenance on the vehicle?
