Audrey L. Daum, 88, of 2001 Memorial Ave., formerly of Bradford, Pa., died Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Audrey's husband of 54 years, Chester T. Daum, died June 27, 2001.
She was co-owner with her husband, of Daum's Market in Cyclone, Pa., beginning in 1951 and continuing for the next 35 years.
Audrey was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Phoenix Chapter 15 and of Sally Wister Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She also taught piano and volunteered for the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department.
Audrey attended Indiana State Teachers College then transferred to Mansfield State Teachers College majoring in music specializing in violin and piano.
Born June 25, 1925, in Howe Township, Forest County, she was the daughter of Charles K. and Maude S. (Crain) Heasley.
Surviving are daughters, Carol L. (Paul) Doyle of Cary, N. C. and Sue A. (Scott) Umstead, of Williamsport; grandchildren, Cara McLeod, Shelley Kuczkir, Eric Doyle, Nick Umstead and Mikhala Umstead; great-grandsons, Josh and Liam Doyle.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, 2 Ross St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Audrey's name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
