Where’s Neighborhood Watch?

October 23, 2013
dsp Williamsport Sun-Gazette

I'm so tired of hearing, "Where is Neighborhood Watch?" when a crime happens to them or their close neighbors. The ones that make that statement are the ones that do not get involved in any watch programs out there to teach these people what they can do, what they can watch for to deter crime. Granted, we cannot stop all crime from happening, but we can slow it down. Together we can make a difference. Remember, "United we stand, divided we fall." As long as neighbors keep saying, "Where's Neighborhood Watch?" when a crime happens, we all fall divided. Come on, all you complainers, and get united together. Stop pointing the fingers at the wrong people.
