JERSEY?SHORE - Flower show committee members from the Jersey Shore Garden Club are finalizing plans for their upcoming Holiday Flower Show to be held Nov. 9, at the Trinity Episcopal Church located on Mt. Pleasant and Thompson Street.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. The theme for the show is "Home for the Holidays" and will include 12 categories including arrangements for both Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Members may enter the category of their choice and then create their entry based on the guidelines outlined by the committee.

The committee has decided this year's show will be a non-judged show.
The purpose of a non-judged show is to allow members to utilize a variety of materials to be used in arrangements, using both fresh and permanent materials.
The committee feels this show will be of special interest to viewers due to the enhancement of materials allowed. Expect to see centerpiece arrangements, door decorations, mantel pieces, designs using greens, silks and fresh flowers.
Anyone who likes to decorate for the holidays will surely enjoy this show and will be able to come away with new and affordable ideas for holiday decorating.
