FallFest to be held
The American Rescue Workers will hold FallFest from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at The Historic Park Home, 800 W. Fourth St.
The event will feature antiques and jewelry, daughters and dolls tea, dime toss, a flea market, face painting, pumpkin decorating, food and drinks, a chili cookoff and more.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Hunger and Homeless Prevention programs offered by the American Rescue Workers Saving Grace Shelter.
Benefit soup and bake sale
A soup and bake sale will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at The Williamsport Home, 1900 Ravine Road. Proceeds from the event will benefit infant Treymarr Clark.
Clark was born September 23 weighing 2 pounds, 2 ounces. Funds raised will help cover his family's expenses.
Free lunch for retirees
A free lunch for retirees will be held at noon Friday at Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St.
All retirees are welcome. Free will donations will be accepted.
LITTLE MARSH - The Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Company will hold haunted hayrides at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Little Marsh Fire Hall, Blair Creek Road.
Tickets will be sold between 6 and 10 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
Yard sale fundraiser for LAPS
A yard sale to benefit Lycoming Animal Protection Society (LAPS) will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at First Ward Fire Co., 573 Hastings St., South Williamsport.
There will be a wide variety of items available.
Handicap parking, drop off and pick up will be available at the door. All others should use AAA parking lot across the street or Fire Co. parking lot around back.
Craft fair to be held
JERSEY SHORE - The Jersey Shore Technology Student Association will host a benefit craft fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Jersey Shore Area High School, 701 Cemetery St.
There will be more than 50 vendors, food, 50/50 raffles and giveaways. All proceeds from the event will support the Jersey Shore Area High School chapter of the Technology Student Association.

Soup and bake sale to be held
MUNCY - The Relay For Life team "Bosom Buddies" will hold a soup and bake sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sam's Club, 611 Lycoming Mall Circle. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society.
The event also will feature free Halloween prizes for children.
Free coat giveaway to be held
MUNCY - Muncy Baptist Church will hold a free coat giveaway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at its location on the corner of Penn and Market St.
Buffalo Valley Rail Trail 4-mile run and walk
LEWISBURG - The Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority will hold its third annual Flat 'N Fast 4-mile run and walk beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday on the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail. Parking and registration will be held at the Mifflinburg Community Park.
The event will be a four-mile out-and-back course starting and finishing in the park.
The run and walk will be scored and timed by PA Runners. Awards will be given to overall male and female top finishers as well as the top three male and female athletes in the following categories: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 to 79 and 80 and over.
There will be a registration fee. Participants can register at www.bvrec.org or the day of the event. Longsleeved shirts will be available to race-day registrants while supplies last.
All-you-can-eat haddock fish dinner to be held
DANVILLE - An all-you-can-eat haddock fish dinner will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Montour-DeLong Fairgrounds, 2628 Broadway Road. Take-out is available.
There will be a fee. Children five and under eat for free. Any active military who come in uniform will receive their dinner for free.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Fair Association.
Lycoming Creek Lions Club to hold barbecue
HEPBURNVILLE - Lycoming Creek Lions Club will hold a chicken barbecue from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at Lions Hall, 52 Bair Drive and in the Citizen's and Northern Bank parking lot, 1510 Dewey Ave.
A meal and dessert will be provided for a fee. Meals are take out only. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
Pork and sauerkraut dinner
NISBET - The Nisbet United Methodist Church will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Nisbet Fire Hall, 166 W. Village Drive.
There will be a fee.
Take-out is not available.
Hayride and fall festival
LINDEN - Pine Run United Methodist Church will host a hayride and fall festival at 6 p.m. Saturday, 1719 Pine Run Road.
The free event will feature a hayride and hamburger barbecue. For kids under 12, there will be games, treats and decorate-your-own treat bags.
St. John's United Church of Christ 'Trunk-or-Treat'
LEWISBURG - St. John's United Church of Christ will hold its annual "Trunk-or-Treat" from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the church's east parking lot, 1050 Buffalo Road.
Lacrosse clinic to be held
Lycoming County Youth Lacrosse Association and Lycoming College Lacrosse will host an introductory lacrosse clinic from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Total Sports Center, 2925 W. Fourth St.
The clinic is open to boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 14. There will be a facility fee per player to be paid at the door.
Sign-ups for a winter skill session will be held at the same time.
