Sarah J. Campbell, 68, of Liberty, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by family on Tuesday evening, Oct. 22, 2013.
Born at home in Roaring Branch on Sept. 5, 1945, Sarah Jane was a daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Jones) Sechrist. On Dec. 12, 1964, she married Harry E. Campbell. They shared nearly 49 years together and were blessed with four children.
In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Sarah was employed by the former Wundies in Liberty. In earlier years, she enjoyed driving for Head Start at Roaring Branch and attended the Roaring Branch United Methodist Church. Sarah will be lovingly remembered as a caring and direct person who would help anyone she could. One would always know how Sarah felt, as she told it as she saw it and often would say, "Life is what you make it." You could find Sarah at auctions, rummage sales and antiquing. She also enjoyed reading and collected angels and water globes.
