United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. On Wednesday, Tammey Aichner, coordinator of United Churches Campus Ministry, will speak about the blessings of working with college students at the Pennsylvania College of Technology. A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, those not regular attendees should call United Churches at 322-1110 to help the caterer know how many to prepare for.
The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Pastors Jim and Kathy Behrens. Kathy is the pastor at Wallis Run/Loyalsock United Methodist Charge and Jim is the administrative pastor for the Picture Rocks United Methodist Charge and protestant chaplain at Muncy State Correctional Institution.
