Betty Louise Taylor, 86, of 229 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport, passed away at the Williamsport Home on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013.
Betty was born on Feb. 8, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Herman and Annabelle (Haines) Zimmerman.
Betty, along with her husband, was a long time member of the Antlers at Williamsport. Betty was also a member of the South Williamsport United Methodist Church.
Betty and her husband, William, were married on May 16, 1945. Together they shared 68 years of marriage. Betty and William had a cottage in Canada that they loved spending time at. Betty enjoyed fishing, golfing, and yard sales. She was a fabulous homemaker and loved her family very much.
Surviving are her husband, William Brandt Taylor, of Williamsport and her son, Scott (Georgia) Taylor, of Athens, Pa. She is also survived by two grandsons, Jason (Kara) Taylor, of Selinsgrove, and Austin Taylor, of Pittsburgh; a great-grandson, Gavin Taylor, of Selinsgrove; a brother, Arthur Zimmerman, of Montoursville; and a niece and a nephew, Lane Bower, and Lance Zimmerman.
