Wear galoshes when trick-or-treating Thursday - it may be a rainy Halloween, said Mike Dangelo, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in State College.
"There's a chance of showers around, during and after trick-or-treating time," Dangelo said. "The chance goes up Thursday night, but in the evening, there should be some showers."
At that point, temperatures should be in the mid-50s, cooling down from the daytime highs of 60 to 65 degrees.
Today, temperatures will get up to near-normal values with highs in the mid-50s, he said. Late today, a weak cold front will come in, increasing clouds a bit.
Tuesday, sunshine should come through with highs again in the mid-50s, but night could bring lows in the freezing range with a chance of rain.
Wednesday, highs could get up around 60, with more rain.
Friday should be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, with warmer temperatures hovering between 60 and 65.
Don't forget to turn the clocks back Sunday, as Daylight Saving Time ends.
