State police continue to search for a woman who robbed a convenience store/gas station on Montgomery Pike at knifepoint about 7 p.m. Sunday.
The suspect, believed to be in her late teens or early 20s, was described as about 5 foot, 1 inch tall and weighed about 100 pounds. She had brown hair and was wearing glasses, a white hooded sweatshirt with blue writing, gray sweatpants and open-toed athletic sandals with white socks, according to Trooper Tyson Havens.
She robbed the Kwik Mart, 843 Route 15, in Armstrong Township by walking into the store and producing a knife, threatening the clerk and demanding money. The clerk provided her with cash, at which time she fled south on foot.
It is believed that the woman came from the area of Union County on Route 15 and likely returned the same way after the robbery.
Those with any further information may call Havens at 570-368-5700.
