The sixth annual Fall Senior Health and Lifestyle Expo will be at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds Industrial Arts Building on Oct. 22 will feature several free seminars of interest to all seniors.
The presentation by Scheib Law Offices will address issues that are of interest in the areas of wills, trusts, estate planning and more.
Dr. Victor Vogel, MD, MHS, FACP, Director of Breast Medical Oncology/Research Geisinger Cancer Center will present a seminar on "New Treatments for Breast Cancer". Dr Vogel is a nationally recognized authority on the subject and the author of numerous papers and books on the subject.
Dr. Edward Kenton, MD, Geisinger Neurology Department, will present a seminar on "Strokes and Reducing Risks."
Geisinger is a major participant in the Senior Health and Lifestyle Expos and has been involved in all 26 Expos.
Thousands of seniors and boomers have enjoyed the information and excitement of meeting with the representatives of the leading companies that exhibit at this Expo over the years.
All fields of interest to visitors are represented from hospitals, pharmacies, insurance, assisted care facilities, retirement communities, home improvement, chiropractic, health improvement and other disciplines.
Miss Pennsylvania has been a guest hostess at the Expo in Lewisburg for over six years. Annie Roselini, Miss Pennsylvania 2013 will be on hand to sign autographs and to meet and greet visitors in Bloomsburg.
Annie recently competed for the title of Miss America in Atlantic City.
Flu shots from Weis Pharmacy are available to all visitors who bring proof of insurance.
Most Exhibitors will have drawing for prizes at their booths.
A $100 cash prize will be drawn at 1 p.m. and all visitors are automatically entered. Must be present to win. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for a Free "Early Bird Breakfast" sponsored by Weis Markets.
