Emily L. Lowmiller, 85, formerly of Williamsport, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
Born Oct. 26, 1928, in Williamsport, she was the daughter to the late Delmont M. and Elsie E. Weigle Savage. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Lowmiller, and her brother, William S. Savage.
Emily was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.
She was a graduate of Muncy High School. Emily was a member of Oak Grove Alliance Church, and ESA sorority in Wichita, Kan. She worked at Millerite as a seamstress.
Surviving are a son, Gary L. (Rebecca) Lowmiller, of Udall, Kan.; a daughter, Dawn L. Dell, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kristopher (Kimberly) Lowmiller, Keshi Bell, Casey (Connie) Lowmiller, and Bryan (Ashley) Dell; and six great-grandchildren, Devon, James, Katrina, Kayla, Bryce, and Hunter.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. Burial will follow at State Road Cemetery, Cogan Station. Visitation will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at Sanders Mortuary.
