David M. "Snuffy" Arndt, age 59, died surrounded by friends and family at the home of a close friend on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013. Snuffy was born on April 25, 1954, in Lock Haven, the son of the late Donald and Frances (Hungiville) Arndt.
Snuffy was a proud member of the class of 1973 from Lock Haven High School. Before graduation, he earned a private pilot's license on his sixteenth birthday.
Upon graduation, Snuff started "work" at Piper Aircraft. After Piper, he worked at various positions at the Buffalo Inn and Assante's. Snuff retired from the Cable Services Company in Williamsport in 2013.

Snuff loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, kayaking and teaching people how to live on the Renovo Road.
He surrounded himself with good friends, good heavy metal music (especially Harp, Hybrid Ice and Korn) and good times.
Besides his parents, Snuff was predeceased by one brother, D. Edward Arndt.
He is survived by two sisters, Kathy Arndt, of Lock Haven, and Frances (Dan) Chapman, of Denver, Colo.; three nephews, John Arndt and Ken Arndt, of Mifflinburg, and Michael Arndt, of New Berlin; and several great-nephews and nieces.
A viewing will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
