Emily H. Hahn, 97, of 508 Eden St., Jersey Shore, died Thursday Nov. 7, 2013, at the ManorCare Health Center in Jersey Shore.
Born July 6, 1916, in Jersey Shore, she was the daughter of Edward Packard and the former Isabelle Smith. Emily was preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Hahn on Sept. 14, 2004.
Earlier in her life she was employed at the Shirt Factory in Jersey Shore. She enjoyed bowling, hunting and was a wonderful seamstress. For many years she was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Jersey Shore.
She is survived by a son Charles A. "Jim" (Shirley) Hahn, of Jersey Shore; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 11, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore.
Friends may call from noon Monday until time of services in the church. Burial will be in the Jersey Shore Cemetery. Rev. Helen M. Learn, her pastor, will officiate. Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
