Packwood Museum seeks prints for holiday sale
LEWISBURG - Packwood House Museum is looking for local artists who would like to participate in a salon-style show and sale during the museum's holiday exhibit. Prints are preferred and artists should be able to provide multiple copies to sell during the annual holiday exhibit, to be held from Nov. 26 to Jan 4, 2013. A portion of the sales will go to the museum.

Whistle Stop to hold electric train display
The Whistle Stop electric train display will be running at Freight Car Train Day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at New Covenent United Church of Christ, Fourth and Basin St.

Community family fun night to be held
JERSEY SHORE - A community family fun night will be held beginning at 5 p.m. Friday at the Masonic Temple, 201 S. Main St.
The free event will feature food, snacks, drinks, games, cards, pool, foosball and family fun and is open to everyone.

Friday Nighters to host musician
The Pine Street Church Friday Nighters will host musician Steve Sunderlan at 6 p.m. Friday at the Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St.
The event is a covered dish luncheon. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share and a donation.

Holiday craft show to be held
MUNCY - A holiday craft show to benefit the Muncy High School Parents, Teachers, Students Association will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 16 at Muncy High School, 200 W. Penn St.
Admission is free. Seventy-five craft vendors with hand-made crafts will be at the event.
There also will be a basket raffle, quilt raffle and breakfast and lunch items available.
Geisinger Turkey Trot
The fourth annual Geisinger Turkey Trot 5K Walk and Fun Run will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at three locations.
The races will begin at Geisinger Medical Center, Hospital for Advanced Medicine in Danville, Nay Aug Park in Scranton and Geisinger-Gray's Woods in Port Matilda.
There will be a fee to register for the race. Proceeds from the Turkey Trot benefit Children's Miracle Network at Geisinger.

Dance Society to hold monthly dance
The Susquehanna Ballroom Dance Society will sponsor their monthly ballroom dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Divine Providence Auditorium.
The music will be suitable for dancers of all levels.
There will be a fee to attend. Attire for the event is semi-formal.
Fifty percent of the proceeds are given to the hospital auxiliary cancer center.
