Montoursville police have charged five people with misdemeanor shoplifting at Wal-Mart, according to court records filed at the office District Judge Gary A. Whiteman.
Mikhala C. Preamble, 19, of 915 Pine St., Montoursville; caught allegedly trying to steal $18 worth of merchandise on Sept. 7.
Michael Stephen Torelli, 26, and Antoniette Chu, 24, both of 1246 Crawley Hill Road, Hughesville; caught allegedly trying to steal $347 worth of merchandise on Aug. 9.
Charlene L. Erdman, 43, of 755 Second St.; allegedly attempted to steal $16 worth of merchandise on Aug. 8.
Latricia Ann Keyes, 37, of 685 Second St; caught allegedly trying to steal $51 worth of merchandise on July 14.
All five have been sent a summons to appear before Whiteman.
