MANSFIELD - Two people were charged with retail theft at Wal-Mart recently.
According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson's office, they are:
Jessica C. Hartfield, 21, of Philadelphia, by state police after she allegedly took $40 worth of merchandise and tried to leave the store Nov. 12, after she put the items in her back pack and coat pocket. She was released on $2,500 bail and her preliminary hearing set for Nov. 20.
Zachary J. Richart, 18, of Waverly, N.Y., by state police, after he allegedly took Magic the Gathering trading cards Sept. 12, and then walked to the nursery portion of the store and threw them over the fence by the outside lot on the south side. He then went to get the cards. He was issued a summons to appear at a Nov. 27 preliminary hearing.
