Robert J. Neylon Jr., 79, of Williamsport, died Wednesday Nov. 20, at the Williamsport Home.
He was born in Baltimore, Md., on Oct. 12, 1934, the son of Robert Neylon Sr. and Margaret Myers Neylon.
Robert was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He had been employed by the Williamsport School District and was a member of the Republican Club, and a life member of the Gesang Verin Harmonia Club. Robert was an active volunteer at St. Boniface Church and enjoyed Nascar Racing.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was in the 15th Combat AVN Co., 1st Cavalry Division.
Robert is survived by his brother, John (Teresa) Neylon, of Williamsport and a sister, Margaret (Richard) Johnson, of Jersey Shore. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Neylon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. with Msgr. Stephen McGough officiating. Friends may call at the church lounge from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Montoursville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 57 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701-1309.
