WELLSBORO - George E. Schweigart III, 22, of Woodhull, N.Y., was charged by borough police after he allegedly gave marijuana to a 16-year-old in his car.
According to documents filed at District Judge Rob Repard's office, Schweigart was found by police in his vehicle in the McDonald's parking lot on Charleston Street on Sept. 30 with the juvenile, and they were both using marijuana, after police were dispatched to a report of possible illegal drug activity there.
He was charged with possession and distribution of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and corruption of minors.
Police said they found marijuana in a baggie and a glass pipe, which he pulled from the car console and then tried to hide from police.
