The Montgomery Area Historical Society will hold a Holiday Open House at the Adam Room Museum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 7.
The public is encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served and admission is free. Entrance is on W. Houston Avenue, beneath the public library.
Sara Loftus will be present with her collection of Wilson Walkies, a ramp walking toy made in Watsontown during the depression. Their manufacturing became a cottage industry as parts were distributed to people in their homes for painting and assembly. As a child, Loftus helped her mother dress many of the toys.

The museum will not be open Dec. 14, as that is the date for the open house at Stone Church at 2 p.m. The church service will be at 4 p.m.
