Many letters state that the recent mess in DC caused by the shutdown is all President Obama's fault and I have to agree with them. He used rhetoric and narrative and manipulation to inspire the actions taken by the legislative body and the outside organizations that support their efforts to attack 'Obamacare'.
He alone stopped appropriations to government and it's agencies and programs making it possible for the President to shut everything down. It has nothing to do with the law on what government is to do after losing all of it's funding. After all it is the President of the United States who controls all of the money only he has absolute control of government.
He is the only one who can say where that money is going to go and for what. He is the only one who pulls all the strings. He made all of this happen, all on his own. He is the only person in government who can use rhetoric and narrative to get people to do as he wants. He orchestrated the political theater at the WWII memorial. No one else had anything to say about it. No one else had a narrative. No one else in Washington had an opinion or an idea or a thought. No one else in Washington spoke or spoke out only the President. All eyes were on the President because no one else in Washington was doing or saying a thing.
You are so right in saying it is the President's fault. He singlehandedly caused the recent government shutdown and made everyone miserable in the process because he could not get his way. He manipulated all in Congress and the American people. For he and he alone had rhetoric and narrative. Come January we all will have to go through this again, maybe others in DC will find their voice by that time.
