Rebecca Gilbertson, Ph.D., Lycoming assistant professor of psychology, is seen teaching Explore Charter School students about the brain. Students from the Brooklyn, N.Y., school recently visited Lycoming for two interactive laboratory sessions.
Explore teacher Lisa Mody, a former language instructor at Lycoming, said, "I want to extend a huge thank you to the people in the science department who took part in making the experience so meaningful for the students. The brain is always the highlight of the trip and motivates students in science class throughout the rest of the year and into the future."
