Jennifer Eisner always has enjoyed baking, but it wasn't until her children were all mostly grown that she decided to make her passion a commercial enterprise.
She couldn't be happier with her decision to launch Celebrations Cakes & Confections this year.
Eisner moved the business into the Pajama Factory in November after launching the enterprise in her home.
"I do all baking on site," she said.
Eisner bakes cakes and cupcakes.
So far, the business has been well received by the community.

"I have orders into January," she said.
She runs the business by herself, but receives a lot of help from her family.
She credited her husband, Will, with going above and beyond the support she's needed.
Owning a business, she said, was something that was long in the back of her mind.
It wasn't until last spring after baking a big cake for a Sweet 16 Party that she decided to take the business plunge, however.
She created a Facebook page for her cakes, and before she knew it, she was getting contacted to bake more.
"There was a huge interest," she said.
Eisner feels overall there's just a great market for what she does.
She likes to create and decorate her cakes with a certain artistic flair.
Eisner recalled growing up around grandmothers who liked to bake, including one who make a lot of specialty cakes.
"People seem to like that," she added.
Eisner likes the Pajama Factory location where the small community of entrepreneurs and artists there are eager to help each other.
"It's a great environment. It's a very artistic environment," she said.
She's hopeful about growing her business and for it to be around for years to come.
