Nicholas J. Pantano, 87, of 1900 Ravine Road, Williamsport, died Dec. 6, 2013, in the Williamsport Home Apartments.
He was born in South Fork, Pa., the son of Louis and Domenica Grattana Pantano. Nicholas was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation in highway design.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his wife, the former Minnie B. Reichenbach, in February of 2012.
He is survived by his children, Michael (Catherine) Pantano, of city, Susan Obert, of city Kathy (Bill) Mauro, of city and Carol (Betty) King, of Croydon. He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren' and a brother, Louis V. Pantano, of Pittsburgh.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., on Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. His pastor, Msgr. Stephen McGough will officiate. There will be no visitation and burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park.
